1. Service Description

Congress Tracker is a news and media service that collects, analyzes, and disseminates publicly available financial disclosure data filed by members of the United States Congress under the STOCK Act and the Ethics in Government Act (EIGA). The service provides tools for browsing congressional stock trades, viewing politician trading profiles, comparing trading patterns, AI-optimized portfolio simulations, and related analytical features.

2. Not Financial Advice

Any investment decision made based on information provided by this service is at the sole risk and responsibility of the user. Past performance of simulated portfolios does not guarantee future results. You should always consult a qualified financial advisor before making any investment decisions. Congress Tracker, its operators, and affiliates shall not be held liable for any financial losses incurred as a result of using this service.

3. Data Sources

All financial disclosure data originates from public government sources, including but not limited to the U.S. House of Representatives Clerk and the U.S. Senate Electronic Financial Disclosures. While we strive to present accurate and up-to-date information, we do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any data displayed on the platform. Data may contain errors, omissions, or delays inherent in the original government filings.

4. User Accounts

Users may create accounts via email registration or Telegram authentication. You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality and security of your account credentials. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or engage in abusive behavior.

5. Lifetime Access

"Lifetime access" means access for the lifetime of the service. If the service is discontinued for any reason, lifetime access holders will receive at least 30 days advance notice prior to the termination of the service. No refund is due for lifetime subscriptions once purchased, as the term "lifetime" refers to the operational lifetime of the service, not the lifetime of the subscriber.

6. Subscriptions & Payments

Paid subscriptions are processed securely via Stripe. You may cancel your subscription at any time. Upon cancellation, your access will continue until the end of the current billing period. We do not store credit card information on our servers; all payment data is handled directly by Stripe in accordance with their security policies.

7. Acceptable Use

By using Congress Tracker, you agree not to:

• Scrape, crawl, or use automated tools to extract data from the platform without prior written permission.
• Redistribute, resell, or republish data obtained from Congress Tracker at scale or for commercial purposes.
• Use automated access methods (bots, scripts, or similar) without explicit authorization.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' accounts, our servers, or our infrastructure.
• Use the service for any illegal purpose or in violation of any applicable laws or regulations.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access for users who violate these usage policies.

8. Limitation of Liability

The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Congress Tracker and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or revenue, whether incurred directly or indirectly, arising from your use of or inability to use the service.

9. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Material changes will be communicated with at least 30 days notice via email or an in-app notification. Your continued use of the service after the effective date of changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
